Fall Music Round-up

Adult Choir (post high school) - Our Adult Choir rehearses on Wednesdays, from 7:30 until 9:00 p.m., beginning on Wednesday, September 9th, 2009. We begin singing on Rally Day, Sunday, September 13th. There are no auditions for choir - as long as you can sing a tune there is a place for you! We usually sing on the 2nd and 4th Sundays of the month at the 11:00 a.m. service, and at special services throughout the year.

YouthChoir (Grades 6 through 12) - Our Youth Choir rehearses on 1st & 3rd Sundays after the 11:00 worship service. We will sing at the 11:00 a.m. service on the 3rd Sunday of the month, and on the 5th Sunday when it occurs, as well as assist the Junior Choir at the 9:30 a.m. service. We will sing at the 7:00 Christmas Eve Service. This group will also do some drama and a few community outings. We will sing a variety of styles of music.

Junior Choir (Grades 2 through 5) - Our Junior Choir rehearses on Wednesdays, from 4:30-5:30 p.m. We usually sing on the 1st Sunday of the month at the 11:00 a.m. service, and on the 3rd Sunday of the month at the 9:30 a.m. service. We will also continue with the tradition of singing at the 7:00 p.m. service on Christmas Eve. Come, join us!

Chime Choir (Grades 4 and up) - Chime choir rehearses on the 2nd and 4th Sundays of the month, from 9:00-10:00 a.m. We always welcome new ringers! You do not have to read music to play with us. We'll play at the 7:00 p.m. service on Christmas Eve, as well as on Palm Sunday and one other date in the Spring.

LCR has youth and adult choirs, a chime choir, contemporary singers, and is always happy to have instrumentalists as part of our services. Please contact Rev. Bruce J. Thorsen, Minister of Music, for more information.
