The Resurrection Garden was created as an outreach to our community. Church members work in the garden almost 9 months of the year to produce fresh, organic, fruits and vegetables.
The food from this garden currently is taken to the Lower Bucks County ERA (Emergency Relief Association) Food Pantry. They are open four days a week to distribute food to approximately 600 - 700 families from Lower Bucks County each month.
During the cold winter months, our congregation has learned that they, too, can help. We started collecting canned goods, dry goods, and fresh produce, to supplement our giving while the garden is resting.
We are always looking for new gardeners, and people who would like to help by weeding, harvesting, packaging, and transporting. This is such a rewarding ministry, and being outdoors and appreciating God’s Creation and the beauty that surrounds us is wonderful.
James 2:14: Dear brothers, what is the use of saying that you have faith and are Christians, if you are not proving it by helping others?
