Our Tanzania Partnership had an amazing trip to visit our partner congregation, Irente parish in Lushoto, Tanzania.To learn about their travels, see the team blog atwww.lcratirente.blogspot.com.

While at Irente, the team visited the parish and its sub-parishes, as well as the four institutions of Irente including The Rainbow School, The School for the Blind, Irente Children’s Home, an the Irente Farm.

The team laid the groundwork for building relationships with our partners.The team visited in the homes of members and spent time in worship, prayer, and conversation with the sub-groups of the church which included the women’s group, men’s group, youth group, elders, choir, and Sunday School.

The Tanzania Team also made an ongoing covenant with Irente parish for mutual support, prayer, and relationship development.The team hopes to send another visiting team in about two years.
